   I desire to transfer Tracfone service from an older phone to a new 1 I picked up from an HSN deal.

   You can use the web site (I think there's a special ane for activating HSN deal, cheque the instructions). Make certain y'all select the option to "Transfer my number from another Tracfone" later clicking on Activate. Everything will be transferred from your old phone to the new telephone first, so the bundled units/days will be added to the new telephone.

3. Thanks for your help! I finally transferred from the old phone / activated the new phone today. The old phone was not showing up on my account, so information technology took a while on chat to become that fixed. I had them verify my data, text, etc. balance and so used the Activate.TracFone.com website, which seems to be simply for HSN and QVC (there might have been one more shop - I can't remember).

   Anyway, it all worked out ok. I retrieve I will wait a couple of days and then initiate the transfer back to the old phone, every bit that is a amend phone. Hopefully that will go smoothly, too.

   I used chat twice recently on consecutive days for transfers. There was a box to enter an e-mail address for the transcript just I only received an email transcript for i of the two sessions. Copy and paste is your friend!

    People have transferred those arranged minutes to another phone without issues. When TF says those minutes are tied to the phone in the packet, it means those minutes will be practical to that phone at activation and can't be applied Direct to another phone.

    ane. When you attempt to actuate the new telephone (with the existing BYOP SIM in it), the organization might check and says that SIM is already agile and can't be activated over again.
    ii. If it doesn't check and proceeding with activating the telephone with a new number, information technology'll overwrite your existing BYOP SIM (assuming it's reusable) and wipe out your existing phone number.

    Sounds like a potential mess.

    I transferred dorsum to my original phone today. All the minutes, texts, etc. transferred without issue.

    I had the same thing, just both times I did not get the electronic mail. Re-create and paste is definitely a good thought.

14. I accept a similar but dissimilar transfer question between 2 Bring Your Ain Phones. The beginning line I desire to go along everything as is including the phone number.     Can't be done as self-service. It's against TF policy, but Maybe you can find a sympathetic and competent rep who agrees to combine buckets from two smartphones. Simply make certain the rep won't wipe out the phone number and buckets of the receiving phone accidentally or due to incompetence.
